DO’S AND DON’TS

PRE-LASER PREP

  • The area of treatment should be shaved 24 hours prior to treatment
  • Use a new, quality razor with gel to avoid irritation
  • Wear loose fitting comfortable clothes on the day
Razor
  • Try to arrive 15minutes early so that you are relaxed – Grab a drink on us
Arrive 15 mins before
  • Avoid waxing, plucking, electrolysis, bleaching and threading two weeks prior to your treatment.
  • Avoid using perfumed products, creams or oils on the areas being lasered on the day of the treatment.
  • Avoid wearing make-up if you are having laser hair removal on your face.
No perfumed cream
  • Do not expose the skin to UV light (sunlight or sunbeds) in the 4 weeks before treatment.

POST-LASER CARE

  • Apply aloe vera gel to prevent any reactions on the skin
  • Apply sunscreen on exposed treated areas with sunscreen of 50+
SPF
  • Wear loose clothing on the day of your appointment
  • Avoid hot showers, baths, steam rooms and saunas for 24 hours
  • Avoid waxing, plucking, electrolysis, bleaching and threading two weeks prior to your treatment.
Avoid hot showers and shaving
  • Avoid wearing makeup and deodorant for 24 hours
  • Avoid exercising for 24 hours
  • Avoid harsh exfoliation for 48 hours
  • Avoid injectable treatments for 2 weeks

And remember hairs will not fall out immediately, but will over the weeks following your treatment and whilst future hair growth may be visible it will be slightly finer and slower after each session.
